Throughout this worksheet, pupils will be comparing and ordering proper fractions and mixed numbers with the same denominator.
In section A pupils recap comparing proper fractions as they chose the greatest out of pairs of fractions.
Next, section B asks learners to partition mixed numbers into fractional parts and whole parts using part-whole models.
Bar models are used to aid students in section C as they colour in pre-drawn bar models to decide which is the greatest mixed number in four pairs of fractions.
In section D, pupils use inequality symbols to compare six further pairs of mixed numbers. Section D consists of two sets of proper fractions and mixed numbers which learners will put in ascending order.
