This worksheet provides plenty of practice doubling 2 digit numbers. The method of partitioning into tens and ones, doubling and then combining the answers is used throughout in conjunction with part whole models. We have provided an example to demonstrate how the part whole models should be used.
On page one learners will double seven numbers where no regrouping of the ones is required for example, 2 x 73.
Page two sees pupils doubling ten numbers where regrouping is required for example, double 77.
Variation of questions used throughout. Children will be asked to double numbers in words and with the use of addition or multiplication.
