Rangoli Colour by Number – Odd and Even Numbers worksheet description

This colour by number sheet is perfect as part of your school’s Diwali celebrations or at home. Students will colour in pieces of a rangoli pattern according to whether a number is even and less than 20, even and greater than 20 or an odd number. Numbers used go up to 40.

Rangoli is an art form that originates from the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop. Throughout Diwali, Hindus draw bright Rangoli patterns on the floor, near the front door to encourage the goddess Lakshmi to go into their homes.
