Students will use number lines to round multiples of 10 and numbers under 1000 to the nearest 100 throughout this worksheet.
Section A begins with looking at number bonds to 100.
In section B, students will complete number sequences of multiples of 100 including 4 digit numbers.
Section C begins with an example which demonstrates how to use a number line when rounding. Pupils are encouraged to mark the number to be rounded on the number line before deciding which multiple of 100 it is closest to. Each question comes with its own number line.
