Children will apply their knowledge of rounding numbers to the nearest multiple of 10, 100 and 1,000 to rounding numbers with one decimal place to the nearest whole number throughout this worksheet.
Pupils are firstly asked to state the two integers that a variety of decimal numbers lie between, in section A.
In sections B and C, number lines are provided so learners can find a decimal on the number lines before deciding which whole number it is closest to. In sections D and E learners will progress to using the tenths to decide how to round each number.
Numbers to be rounded get increasingly large throughout but do not exceed 100.
