Area of Quadrilaterals (A) Worksheet Description

In section A, students will calculate the area of squares and rectangles, including one quadrilateral with decimal dimensions.

Next, students will practice calculating the area of parallelograms and rhombuses in section B. Your learners will sometimes have to choose the correct lengths for the base x height formula. The last question is about a compound shape made up of two parallelograms.

Encourage your learners to use suitable units for the area throughout this worksheet. For an extra challenge, students could answer these questions without a calculator.
