To complete time calculations, your students must be able to convert between minutes and hours. This worksheet, consisting of four sections, will help learners master the skill, including minutes as fractions of an hour.
In section A, students will convert time from hours and minutes into minutes.
Starting with an example, section B sees learners deciding what fraction of an hour different amounts of minutes represent. We have included an image of a clock face and encourage students to think about what ⅓ of an hour, for example, would look like on this face. Vice versa, in section C, pupils will write fractions of an hour in minutes.
Section D asks pupils to write a given amount of minutes, such as 95, in hours and minutes.
