Pressure, Force and Area worksheet description

This worksheet will guide students through calculating pressure, force and area and then challenge them with some problem solving questions.

In section A, learners will rearrange the pressure formula to make force and area the subjects before using these in seven calculations. Take care to ensure the correct units are used here. =

Next, in section B students will calculate the area of three different shapes placed on a table and using their force, calculate the pressure that each exerts.

Lastly, section C consists of 4 exam style problem solving questions.
