Following on from Forming Expressions with Function Machines, this worksheet scaffolds the process of rearranging simple formulae with the aid of function machines.

In section A, learners need to complete the function machines that send the input to the output in the given formulae.

Section B then asks learners to write the formulae from given function machines.

Section C then provides a formula and a function machine and asks learners to produce an inverse function machine and write the rearranged formula.

Lastly, section D asks learners to go through the whole process from a given formula.
