Rotation (C) provides your learners with further practice rotating shapes on x and y axes as well as introducing them to describing rotations.
Section A consists of 4 rotation questions, each being on its own set of axes. The centres of rotation are on the object, the origin and on a diagonal line from the vertex of the object.
In section B, students are given three pairs of objects and images. They are to find the centres of rotation when each object is rotated 90 degrees clockwise to produce the image.
Section C sees students rotating 8 more polygons, this time all on one set of axes as when all transformations are complete a picture will appear.
Lastly, in section D pupils will describe fully the rotations that map object to image over three questions.
