This worksheet brings the skills consolidated in Spider Percentage (A) and (B) to find more complicated amounts percentages.
Section A uses the format of the spider diagrams from worksheet (A) and asks students to find percentages such as 42%, 125%, and 2.5% of some given amounts.
Section B is an excellent Pair/Share activity where students can choose their centre values. This could be used as a good discussion point – Which values are easier to find percentages from mentally? What would make the percentages difficult to find mentally?
