Once learners are comfortable with fraction, decimal, and percentage equivalence of quarters, one half, tenths, and hundredths, use this fun and engaging worksheet to enable students to recognize these equivalences fluently. In section A, students are tasked with finding 3 equivalences out of a possible 6 fractions, decimals and percentages. The fractions, decimals, and percentages in each question are designed to draw out misconceptions such as 0.9 = 9% and 40% = 1/40.
Section B gives learners the opportunity to create their own questions. Students can get creative, trying to make their questions harder by thinking of possible misconceptions. Why not encourage learners to swap and attempt on another's problems?
