Multiplying Binomials WORKSHEET
Suitable for Grades: 7th Grade
CCSS: 7.EE.A.1, HSA.APR.A.1
CCSS Description: Apply properties of operations as strategies to add, subtract, factor, and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients.
Understand that polynomials form a system analogous to the integers, namely, they are closed under the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication; add, subtract, and multiply polynomials.

Multiplying Binomials WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet contains forty five expressions of double parentheses to expand and simplify over three different sections. There are plenty of options to give students lots of practice, or choice for teachers and parents to target questions for individuals.
In section A, expressions contain only one variable, but include both positive and negative terms and well as expressions with a coefficient other than 1 or -1.
Section B introduces expressions with more than one variable and includes expressions such as (x + 6)2.
In section C, students will expand and simplify expressions with up to two sets of parentheses and expressions such as 8( 7x + 2 )(x + 6).
