This worksheet will help your students find the area of trapezoids and work with the area of trapezoids to solve problems. There are five questions that will help learners: calculating the areas of three different trapezoids in question 1, use areas to find a missing length and the height in question 2 and 3, drawing trapezoids with a specified area on square grids in question 4, spot, explain and correct an incorrect answer to a question in question 5 and using the perimeter of an isosceles trapezoid to find the area in question 6. Question 6 does bring some extra challenges as students are required to use the Pythangorean theorem to find the height of the trapezoids.
