This worksheet helps students strengthen their skills in using related facts to calculate efficiently without relying on long written methods.

Section A focuses on multiplication. Learners are given a multiplication statement and then solve a related question where one or both of the factors have been scaled up or down. For example, if 17×95=1615, then 17×19= ?.

Students explore how scaling the dividend or divisor affects the answers in Section B which looks at division.

Section C develops fluency by challenging students to find missing values in linked multiplication and division problems, reinforcing the connection between operations.

Questions progress in difficulty and include both whole numbers and decimals, ensuring learners can apply mental methods in a variety of contexts.
