Circle Theorems (A) WORKSHEET
Circle Theorems (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet will help learners practice using the circle theorems “angles in the same segment are equal” and “the angle at the center is twice the angle at the circumference”. It may also lead them into some of the other circle theorems. Section A provides some straightforward diagrams with missing angles to find. Section B then increases the complexity of the diagrams and changes the type of angle notation used. Follow on from this worksheet with Circle Theorems (B).
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.

Frequently Asked Questions
Students will focus primarily on two key circle theorems: "angles in the same segment are equal" and "the angle at the center is twice the angle at the circumference." While working through the problems, they may naturally encounter and apply some of the other important circle theorems as well. This targeted approach helps students build confidence with these fundamental concepts before moving on to more complex applications.
