Column Addition of up to 4 Digits (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
The second in our series of two worksheets on column addition of up to 4 digit numbers, this worksheet will see pupils adding pairs of numbers together where either one, two or three regroupings are required.
The worksheet begins with a reminder of a method that learners can use to efficiently find the sum of two single digit numbers: adding near doubles
Section B consists of 6 column addition questions that are already set up for learners. In section C there are 6 further questions to answer although this time students will have to set up the model for column addition themselves.
Students are required to find the sums of numbers with both the same and different number of digits.
