Compare and Order Numbers to 1000 WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Throughout this worksheet learners will order numbers on number lines, use inequality symbols to compare pairs of numbers, identify numbers that are greater than or less than other numbers, and write sets of numbers in ascending order.

Section A is thoughtfully scaffolded as pupils place numbers on number lines. In each question, in interval markers, labels and numbers vary. Numbers may be all multiples of one hundred, ten, or any given three-digit number.

In section B, learners will see numbers written in numerals and words.
