Compare positive and negative numbers in the context of US temperatures with this worksheet.
Students are given a map with 10 cities and their lowest recorded temperatures in 2021 to study before answering a series of questions based on these temperatures.
In section A, learners will compare ten pairs of cities and state which was warmer or which was cooler.
Section B is made up of 4 worded questions such as finding the difference between the highest and lowest temperatures.
Any students that require an extra challenge can complete the extension where they will be asked to calculate the mean of all the temperatures,
