Suitable for Grades: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade
CCSS: 3.MD.A.1, 4.MD.A.2
CCSS Description: Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Use the four operations to solve word problems involving distances, time intervals, liquid volumes, masses, and money, including cases requiring simple fractions or decimals; represent measurement quantities using diagrams such as number line diagrams with a measurement scale.

Converting Between 12 and 24 Hour Time (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet will see learners converting between 12 and 24 hour time formats. All times used in this version are to the hour, half past and quarter past/to the hour.
In section A students will determine whether times given in 24 hour time format are AM or PM times
Section B is a match up activity. Here students will pair up times in 12 and 24 hour time formats. Two analogue clocks are included here also.
Next learners will convert time from 12 to 24 hour time and vice versa in section C.
In Section D, students will articulate what they know about converting between 12 and 24 hour time formats as they spot and explain some common misconceptions.
