This resource is the perfect review activity for finding fractions, decimals, and percentage equivalence of halves, quarters, tenths and hundredths. Students do not have to work with simplified fractions such as fifths or twentieths, making this worksheet ideal for learners getting to grips with the difference between the decimal place value of 7% and 70%.
Converting Fractions, Decimals, and Percents (A) is broken into manageable 'chunks'. Students have 4 tables of equivalence to complete. In the first table, students convert decimals to percentages and vice versa with numbers such as 0.61; in the second table, learners are still finding decimals and percentage equivalents, but of numbers such as 6%. Table 3 asks students to find basic fractions and decimal equivalence. Lastly, in Table 4, students convert between fractions and percentages. It's in the last two tables that learners are asked to think about the common fractions of a half and quarters.
