This worksheet is designed to challenge and enhance students' understanding of density through a series of engaging and thought-provoking problems; perfect for learners that understand the concept of density and are ready to apply the formula in a two step process.
Focusing on the concept of mixing different liquids, pupils are given two variables of two liquids and must work to combine these in order to find the density of the liquid created when they are mixed. We have used tables to help students organise their working and question 1 is scaffolded to further guide learners.
The use of a calculator is required.
