Dividing 4 Digit Numbers by 1 Digit Divisors (D) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet provides plenty of practice of “bus stop” or short division style, dividing 4 digit numbers by single digit integers. Section A begins with all of the 8 questions having the first stage of division not having a remainder. Section B then provides the answer and learners must work backwards to find the 4 digit dividend. Section C then continues with 8 questions where the first stage may or may not have a remainder. Section D consists of 8 questions similar to Section B. Section E finishes with some mixed questions.
