Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.

Fluently divide multi‑digit numbers using the standard algorithm.

Dividing with One and Two Digit Divisors (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet can be used in conjunction with Dividing with One and Two Digit Divisors (A). Section A contains 20 questions in “bus stop” style, where 3 and 4 digit dividends are to be divided by a single digit. Section B then provides similar dividends, but with 2 digit divisors. The questions are suitable for all division methods using the “bus stop” notation. All answers will produce decimals, but learners are not required to round them correctly at this stage.
