Equivalent Fractions Using a Fraction Wall (B) WORKSHEET
Suitable for Grades: 4th Grade
CCSS: 4.NF.A.2
CCSS Description: Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators, e.g., by creating common denominators or numerators, or by comparing to a benchmark fraction such as 1/2. Recognize that comparisons are valid only when the two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with symbols >, =, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
Equivalent Fractions Using a Fraction Wall (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Throughout this worksheet students will use a colorful fraction wall to compare the size of fractions using inequality symbols, find equivalent fractions based on a given denominator, find all fractions equivalent to ½, ⅔, ¼ and 7/7 and find the odd one out from sets of three fractions.
All fractions have denominators less than or equal to 12.
