Estimating Rates of Change (B) WORKSHEET
Estimating Rates of Change (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet follows on from Estimating Rates of Change (A) by providing some contextual exam-style questions. Question 1 provides a graph showing the volume of water being drained form a container. It asks for what the slope would represent and requires learners to find both an instantaneous and an average rate of change. Question 2 has a speed-time graph and requires learners to draw a tangent to find the acceleration at a given time, and then an average acceleration.
