Factoring Trinomials WORKSHEET

This Factoring Trinomials worksheet introduces students to expressions that are in the form of ax² + bx + c, where a, b, and c are constants.
In section A, students will start off factoring expressions where the coefficient of x squared is 1. Then, in section B, all the coefficients of x squared are 2 and all terms are positive. This allows students to consider the mechanics of their factorizations.

Section C progresses to include coefficients of x squared of 3 and 5. These numbers are intentionally all prime. Finally, in section D, the coefficients of x squared are all composite numbers.
