Fractions Greater Than One - Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Learners will begin converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers throughout this worksheet with the use of number lines and bar models.

The worksheet begins with an example that shows that 1 2/4 is equal to 6/4. Section A asks pupils to convert 5 mixed numbers to improper fractions by drawing bar models on number number lines. The labeling on number lines decreases as the section progresses. Students then complete the same process in reverse as they convert seven improper fractions to mixed numbers including an improper fraction to an integer.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.
