Inequalities on a Number Line WORKSHEET

Suitable for Grades: 6th Grade
CCSS: 6.EE.B.8
CCSS Description: Write an inequality of the form x > c or x < c to represent a constraint or condition in a real-world or mathematical problem. Recognize that inequalities of the form x > c or x < c have infinitely many solutions; represent solutions of such inequalities on number line diagrams

Inequalities on a Number Line WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet is designed to give learners the opportunity to practise the skill of displaying inequalities on a number line. Section A provides the number line diagrams, and learners need to write the correct inequality. Section B provides the inequality for learners to draw the correct diagram. An extension section asks learners to write appropriate values to satisfy given inequalities.
