This worksheet helps students master the skill of labeling sides of right triangles, an essential foundation for trigonometry.
Firstly students are asked to label the sides relative to the angle θ as opposite, adjacent, or hypotenuse.
Next learners ensure six triangles are fully labeled, including adding a label of θ for the included angle, when given one side labeled already.
Then students will find and label right angled triangles within shapes using a given angle, θ. Shapes include: a rectangle, trapeziod, isosceles triangles, and a parallelogram.
