Making $1 WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet helps students develop their ability to recognize coins and understand their relative value while reinforcing the equivalence of 100¢ and $1, along with number bonds of 100.

Students complete three different activities. In section A, they are provided with 5 different groups of coins and are asked to draw additional coins so that each group totals $1. Learners must recognize and add the coins in each group and then count up to $1 using the correct denominations.

In section B, students will fill in the gaps in addition statements where amounts in cents are added to make $1.

Finally, in section C, students are shown three wallets with different amounts of money inside, and they must identify which wallet contains exactly $1.
