By completing this worksheet, your learners will be able to measure straight lines independently and accurately using a ruler. All lines measure a whole number of centimeters throughout the worksheet.
In section A, learners will measure the lengths of lines which are aligned alongside a ruler. Watch out as not all lines begin at 0 cm!
Section C asks learners to measure a further 7 lines, this time using their own rulers. Lines are in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal orientations.
Lastly, in section D a robot is waiting to have its body parts measured. Here learners answer questions such as how wide is the robot’s body.
