Measuring Perimeter in Millimeters WORKSHEET
Suitable for Grades: 6th Grade
CCSS: 6.G.A.1
CCSS Description: Find the area of right triangles, other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes; apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Measuring Perimeter in Millimeters WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet gives learners the opportunity to practice measuring lengths in millimeters and then add those lengths to find the perimeter of a shape. Section A gives some triangles where learners will need to measure all three sides. Section B then gives some rectangles, giving learners the option to measure the length and width if they wish to then go on to calculate the perimeter. Section C then provides a mixture of quadrilaterals, pentagons, and rectilinear shapes.
