Order of Operations with Calculators WORKSHEET
Order of Operations with Calculators WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Calculating with the correct order of operations is an essential part of algebra and must be mastered before moving on to topics such as substitution and solving equations. This worksheet provides excellent further practice calculating using the correct order of operations, as well as effectively using a calculator to confirm answers.
Questions begin with expressions containing two operations and progress to consisting of three operations with parentheses and/or exponents. Students are only required to square numbers in expressions containing exponents, and all numbers are positive integers, allowing your learners to really focus on using the correct order of operations.
There is also a small extension where students will consider what happens when you square a negative number on a calculator.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.
