Ordering Fractions, Decimals, and Percents (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This is the perfect follow up from Fractions, Decimals, Percents B, as learners use the equivalences looked at in this previous worksheet to order fractions, decimals, and percentages.

In section A, students have 6 pairs of numbers from which they have to decide upon the smallest. Students will have to convert between numbers in order to make their choice.

Next, students have to order 3 sets of 4 fractions, decimals, and percentages in ascending order. Section B starts with an example that encourages students to convert all numbers to percentages before ordering them in their original form. This avoids any confusion in ordering decimals or fractions which may have different denominators.

Lastly, section C requires learners to find 2 numbers between 1/20 and 1/ 10, one decimal and one percentage, and 2 numbers between 3/25 and 15% in fraction and percentage form. Only 1 example answer is given for each; it is a great conversation starter between student and teacher or between peers.
