Partitioning Decimals - Tenths and Hundredths (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet helps students build a solid understanding of place value by flexibly partitioning decimals. Part whole models and place value counters are used throughout to reinforce conceptual understanding and allow students to visualise and explain how decimal numbers are structured.

Across Sections A and B, learners will partition decimal numbers into ones, tenths and hundredths as well into 2 different ways. In Section A, decimals are displayed using numerals and represented with place value counters. In Section B, the place value counters are not present but there is space for students to draw them if desired.
