Parts of a Circle WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Learners will illustrate and name parts of circles throughout this worksheet. In section A, students will mark the centre point on five different circles. Then in section B they will draw on and measure the radii in mm of 5 more circles. Section C, looks at what a diameter is and isn’t. In section D, learners will discover that the diameter is double the radius and use this fact to find the diameter when given the radius and vice versa. The worksheet concludes with a circle which students will label.
