Percentage Change (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Percentage Change (A) is perfect for learners taking their steps into calculating percentage change.

In Section A learners will calculate the percentage change after an increase or a decrease without a calculator. The questions are structured to guide students through this process and we recommend using equivalent fractions for calculations. All context is removed here to allow students to focus on the mathematics of percentage change.

Calculators are required in Section B as students work with percentage change rounded to 1 decimal place.

Section C comprises three worded questions where students will calculate percentage profit and loss in buying and selling problems.
