Rotating Shapes WORKSHEET
Understand that a two-dimensional figure is congruent to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, and translations; given two congruent figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the congruence between them.
Rotating Shapes WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Children are encouraged to practise rotating shapes using number frames throughout this worksheet. If possible, give children physical number frames to use alongside the worksheet.
In section A, students will draw number frames after they have been rotated a quarter turn clockwise or anticlockwise. Section B looks at half turns and in section C students will complete three quarter turns.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.
