Rounding Numbers to the Nearest 10 Using Number Lines (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This is the second in our set of differentiated worksheets on rounding to the nearest 10. Here students will use number lines to round numbers under 100 to the nearest 10.
Section A begins with students completing number sequences of multiples of 10 including 3 digit numbers.
Section B begins with an example which demonstrates how to use a number line when rounding. In this version the number lines provided are all blank, students will have to decide how to label them.
The worksheet ends with students choosing numbers from a set to fit constraints such as “Rounds to 50 when rounded to the nearest 10”.
