CCSS Description: Solve linear equations and inequalities in one variable, including equations with coefficients represented by letters.

Solving Inequalities with Two Inequalitity Signs WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Students will solve inequalities with two signs throughout this worksheet, as well as displaying solutions on number lines.

In Section A, learners will recap showing dual inequalities on number lines and stating the integer solutions to the inequalities. They are provided blank numbers throughout.

Section B compromises of 9 minimally different inequalities that students are asked to display on number lines. Students are required to solve inequalities such as 2 < 2x < 6 and 2 < 2x–4 ≤ 6.

In Section C, there are 9 harder inequalities to solve.

Lastly, Section D is made up of two worded questions.
