Column Addition - Decimals B WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Column Addition - Decimals (B) will see your learners adding decimals with 1, 2 and 3 decimal places using the column method. The decimals in each question have a different number of decimal places and throughout the worksheet pupils encounter questions that require regrouping and questions that do not.

In section A, the column additions are already laid out for pupils, in section B they will write the decimal numbers in the column addition format themselves (square grids are provided on this worksheet). Section C gives pupils a chance to articulate what they know as they spot, correct, and explain an error. Section D provides an opportunity for problem-solving as they use the digits 1 - 7 to make an addition statement correct.
