Dividing 2 Digits by 1 Digit - Using Partitioning WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Learners will use their knowledge of multiplication and division facts of the 3, 4, and 5 times tables in order to mentally divide two-digit numbers by single digits throughout this worksheet.

There are four sections for pupils to work through. Sections A, B, and C all focus on dividing numbers by either 3, 4, or 5. There is a reminder of division facts within each times table followed by students flexibly partitioning numbers in order to divide them. The aim here is for students to use their knowledge of the multiples of each divisor.

Section D provides learners with the chance to reason and problem solve.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.
