Measurement Conversions: Time - Minutes and Hours (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

In order to complete time calculations, your students will need to be able to convert between minutes and hours. This worksheet, consisting of four sections, will help learners master the skill, including minutes as fractions of an hour.

In section A, students will convert time from hours and minutes into minutes.

Starting with an example, section B sees learners deciding what fraction of an hour different amounts of minutes represent. We have included an image of a clock face and encourage students to think about what â…“ of an hour, for example, would look like on this face. Vice versa in section C, students will write fractions of an hour in minutes.

Section D asks students to write a given amount of minutes, such as 95, in hours and minutes.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Math.
