Students will master converting between days and hours with this worksheet.
In section A, students will state the number of hours in 1 to 8 days as well as considering the fractions of half a day and 2 and a half days. Learners will also be asked to articulate how this conversion is achieved.
We reverse this in section B, as students convert hours into days. Section B also includes fractional days such as 18 and 54 hours.
Section C requires students to convert a time given in days and hours into hours. This is a guided process, with an example showing 2 days and 12 hours as 24 hours + 12 hours before giving an answer of 36 hours.
Again, this process is reversed in section D, where students convert a time in hours into a number of whole days and hours.
