Sorting 2D Shapes WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet asks students to name 12 different regular and irregular polygons before cutting each shape out. Then over the next four pages, learners will sort these shapes into different categories. The categories are designed to encourage students to consider and discuss numbers of sides, vertices and lines of symmetry in shapes. We have included a venn diagram for sorting too.
