Comparing Decimals WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet will give students the opportunity to consolidate their place value skills by comparing the size of decimals. In section A, students will need to decide if an inequality statement is true or false for pairs of given integers. This format is then repeated for sections B and C, with the pairs of numbers becoming decimal numbers, with an increasing number of digits after the decimal point as students work through the questions. Section D then asks students to write the correct inequality symbol for pairs of decimal numbers. There is space at the end for them to write their own statements.
