This worksheet provides plenty of arithmetic (linear) sequences which require their nth term to be found. In section A, all of the sequences have a positive common difference. In section B, the sequences may have negative common differences or include decimals or fractions. An extension section then asks learners to consider the structure of nth terms and the sequences they generate.
