Substituting into Expressions (B) worksheet description

Throughout this worksheet, students will be substituting one or more values into different expressions. The worksheet is split into three sections which increase in difficulty. All values are positive integers, and although the same variables are used all through each section, the value to be substituted varies. The worksheet is well laid out. Questions are presented in a table made up of four columns: one for expressions, one for the value or values to be substituted, one for the calculation, and the final value of the expression.

The expressions in section A contain two terms and two operations, and in section B the expressions contain up to three terms and three operations. Section C introduces expressions with two variables. Some expressions involving parentheses and/or exponents.
