Learners will be able to practise reading from scales and consolidate their understanding of metric measures of capacity with this worksheet.

Section A displays four 1000-millilitre jugs holding different amounts, learners will need to read the scales and then add or subtract the amounts for the questions.

Section B extends on section A by introducing two 10-litre buckets alongside two 1000-millilitre jugs. Again learners will need to read the scakes and perform some additions and subtractions.

Lastly, section C introduces the imperial units, pints and gallons, giving the conversions to millilitres. Learners will need to use the conversions to solve some additions and subtractions.
